Rice to Wednesday @ Platinum Walk, Danau Kota.

Quick rating:
Taste: 9.0/10
Service: 9.5/10
Value for money: 9/10

Last week, the 3Foodeteers seeked for an adventure on the authentic food from the East Coast of Malaysia and we found this place called Rice to Wednesday at Platinum Walk, Danau Kota. At first its quite hard to understand the meaning of the name till we directly translate it to Malay which means Nasi Kerabu. Quite fancy huh?

Pretty wide range of menu with very reasonable price.

Peja: When I first get into this restaurant, the ambiance does not seem like any other place selling Kelantanese cuisine, it looks more like a cafe, even the section where they prepared the food kinda remind me of Subway.

A very neat and professional looking.

Peja: I ordered the Nasi Kerabu with Ayam Percik (RM6.50). To my surprise, the rice was yellow in color instead of the typical blue color of common Nasi Kerabu. If I'm not mistaken, the yellow Nasi Kerabu is also called Nasi Kerabu Golok. The rice was nicely cook and the gravy was really nice. I really enjoy the nasi kerabu, it feels like being back in Kelantan for once. However, the ayam percik on the other side was not that great. The chicken was tender and juicy but the gravy was not thick enough though. The taste was fine but it would be much better if the gravy is thicker.

I also tried the Daging Gulai Kawah as it look so tempting, I like the taste. It was rich in flavor, the broth was very thick the meat was very tender. It does not really mix well though with nasi kerabu though, but they do serve nasi campur as well during the lunch time, so I will definitely come back again.

I would say, putting the ayam percik aside, this is the place where you can find close-to-authentic nasi kerabu in Klang Valley. It could be one of the best Nasi Kerabu in KL.
